Meet Tania

I have spent my entire career working with language. I started as a teacher of English in South Korea and Taiwan; that led to over 20 years teaching English for Academic Purposes and designing curricula at universities and colleges in Canada and the UK. Along the way I authored 16 textbooks for learners of English, trained teachers, and gave a lot of conference talks.

I started editing professionally in 2010, and I have been freelance since 2012. My clients have included the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL); international publishers of materials for language learners; and many individual academic writers from around the world in fields as diverse as art and design, economics, information technology, law, and archaeology. I love helping writers from different language backgrounds to express their ideas in clear, accurate, and convincing language.

I am a dual citizen of the UK and Canada. I grew up in Warwickshire, England, and I now live in Ontario, Canada, with my husband and two grown-up children, both university students.
